Harvesting Hope
As fields of golden wheat sway in the summer breeze, farmers begin the timeless work of harvest — gathering the grain that will soon become fresh loaves of bread on family tables. There is something powerful about Shavuos, which also celebrates the new harvest and special offerings that were brought to recognize this time. It’s a reminder that from small seeds can come nourishment, comfort, and life itself. The cutting of the crop is not an end, but a beginning. It is the mom

Making your Donation Count as we count the days
There’s something powerful about the idea of counting days. Not just letting them pass, but marking them, valuing them, and recognizing that each one holds its own opportunity. When you begin to see time this way, your perspective shifts. Days are no longer routine—they become purposeful. Each morning brings with it a quiet question: What will I do with today? Will it slip by, or will it be filled with intention, kindness, and impact? Every day, thousands of children in Israe

Warmth among the missiles
A war broke out, again, a time of instability, anxiety and stress. Constant sirens blaring, children confused at home…. The happiness of placing it on the counter and knowing today’s meal is p

It melts slowly and is absorbed gradually into the earth and it becomes bread. Not like the rain which runs down into the rivers and oceans. That’s what the earth needs in order to produce food. That’s why the Gemara says that one snow is as valuable as five rains (Gemara Taanis 3b). The snow

The message of the trees
Each year, nature quietly teaches us how growth really works. Before a tree bursts into blossom, something important happens beneath the surface. Its roots stretch deep into the soil, drawing in water and nutrients day after day. There is no rush, no spectacle—just steady nourishment. Only once its most basic needs are met does the tree begin to bud, bloom, and eventually bear fruit. Children are no different.
