We put together some thoughts from different mothers around Israel during the 12 day War.
Schools, Chedarrim and Preschools were canceled! All the children were home – all day!!!
“I’m hungry” says one child, another opens the fridge…all they want to do is eat!! I can’t keep up with them, I feel like they are eating all day! Thanks to the bread distribution we have lots of bread to go around and feed however many times the kids want to eat - Thank you!”
“We were at home for a week and a half, with kids hungry all the time and 3 meals to serve.. I had bread ready and available to make with different varieties- PB, tuna, grilled cheese, french toast. This was our lifeline!”
“I’m trying to juggle work and the kids, but it’s not really happening… Our budget is going to be much tighter without the income. Thanks to BFI we can always count on fresh bread, even in the height of the war we were covered!”
Bread for Israel is constantly distributing bread, allowing everyone to ease back after the war feeling secure.
